Distances use representative country centre points, not borders · 1,000 km clue bands · Data: mledoze/countries

Let’s solve one together.

Each signal describes a ring around its named country. Distances are measured between representative points near the countries’ geographic centres—not between their nearest borders. This means two neighbouring countries can still be hundreds of kilometres apart. The answer must sit inside every ring at once.

Revealing a signal is expected strategy, not failure. In Medium mode, begin with two and reveal another whenever several countries still fit. After your second probe, navigation also tells you which direction to travel.
